On December 14, 2008 Harmony Showcase Chorus hosted it's first Annual Harmony Star Competition.
After qualifying by singing for a panel of judges within the chorus both Charity and Sandra went on to place 1st and 2nd receiving Teddy Bears courtsey of Ginny Bretz, gift certificates courtesy of a Lori's Salon, and college scholarships from Harmony Showcase Chorus.
Sandra Rangel is a 7th grader here in the Antelope Valley loves to sing, dance, run and do vocal impressions. Her choice to sing everyday demonstrates her love for singing. With a great personality, she loves to laugh as well as make her friends laugh.
Charity Blanton is a 17 year old Senior honor student at QHHS. With two main passions in life, soccer, and singing, she uses both to help further her education opportunities. She began singing at the age of 5, but did not began publicly performing until her freshman year in high school where she has been singing in a' cappella choir. |
